To ensure changes you make to your bids or bidding strategies are contributing to improved performance, Adalysis will generate regular reminders to review the performance change that took place as a result of the change.
Adalysis tracks the date the below changes took place and hence can remind you to review the impact at appropriate intervals without you having to rely on manually tracking these dates yourself:
- Campaign’s bidding strategy changes
- Adgroup’s max CPC, target CPA or target ROAS changes
- Keyword’s max CPC changes (in manual CPC campaigns)
- Product groups max CPC changes (in manual CPC campaigns)
Once enough data is collected to draw statistically significant conclusions, you'll see an alert on your Dashboard providing an option to see a performance comparison of the period before vs after the change.
The alert will contain more details about the exact changes together with a performance comparison (from the Performance Analyzer tool) of how these changes affected your most important metrics. Based on this analysis, you can decide whether or not to revert back to the bid/bidding strategy changes.
However, please note the performance change, whether positive or negative, could have been influenced by other changes you made during the same time period e.g. changing ad copy, campaign targetting changes, etc. Hence, please consider these factors before deciding whether or not a bid or bidding strategy change resulted in the desired outcome.
All the reminder alert settings can be adjusted in the Audit Settings section of your Adalysis account.
