For Shopping campaigns with manual CPC bidding strategies, Adalysis will alert you to opportunities to optimize performance by changing your bids.
You'll see the alert under Alerts > Bid suggestions on your dashboard. Click on it for detailed product group data and recommendations to increase or decrease bids.
If you are happy with the recommendations, select all or some product groups and click Apply bid suggestions.
Customize your bid suggestion settings
To compute the best bids, Adalysis considers multiple signals for your product groups, including:
- search impression share
- search volume
- benchmark CPC
The default goal is to increase overall profits for your account. Go to Audit settings to change the goal and other criteria. You can also customize your settings by clicking Bid suggestion settings from your dashboard alert.
Here is an overview of how you can customize calculations:
- Select your goal: increase conversions, conversion value, profit, or ROAS.
- Set maximum bid limits, either as a percentage of the current bid or an absolute value.
- Select the date range that should be analyzed for computing new bids.
- Set the minimum threshold of impressions, clicks, or conversions that needs to be achieved before a new bid is calculated.
- To avoid bidding on the same product groups too frequently, set a minimum time frame between bid suggestions.
- Define how aggressive you want your bidding to be.
To revert back to the default settings, click Reset to default at any time.
