Adalysis will alert you if we detect high-volume keywords in an ad group with mixed ad relevance ratings (both above-average and below-average). High-volume here means 100+ impressions in last 30 days. This is why:
When an ad group contains high-volume keywords with above-average relevance (green) alongside others with below-average relevance (red), it suggests the below-average keywords don’t align well with the ads in that group.
For example, if the below-average keywords include the word “agent” but the above-average ones don’t, this mismatch might explain the poor ad relevance.
To improve relevance, move the below-average keywords into a different ad group and create ad copy specifically tailored to those keywords.
Viewing the ad groups and keywords
You'll see the alert under Alerts > Keywords on your dashboard. Click on the alert to review the list of affected ad groups.
Clicking on the ad group name will open the Ads screen by default. Click on the Keywords screen to see the keywords. The ad group will have a mixture of keywords with 'above average' (green) and 'below average' (red) Ad relevance.
Moving your keywords
You can move a keyword to a new ad group by selecting it and clicking Tools > Move/Copy. Then choose whether to move the keyword to an existing ad group or to create a new one. Alternatively, select several keywords and move them in bulk.
