Analyzing paused campaigns

Modified on Wed, 11 Dec at 12:34 PM

All enabled campaigns in your accounts are linked by default. Adalysis doesn't link paused campaigns as no audit or analysis is carried out for them.

If you pause a campaign after linking it to Adalysis, it won't be included in the alerts and data analysis. This is because paused campaigns generally don't need to be optimized.

This article will show you how to override this default behavior:

Scenario 1 — Campaign is paused after it was linked to Adalysis

Follow these steps to include paused campaigns that are already linked to Adalysis in the alerts and analysis:

  1. Create a new label called AdalysisKeepEnabled (case-sensitive). You can find the Labels screen in the top-right section of Adalysis.

  2. Enable the campaign in Adalysis and assign the label to it.

  3. Pause the campaign immediately in Google Ads.

The campaign will only be enabled within Adalysis, without affecting its status in Google Ads can change independently of Adalysis.

Scenario 2 Paused campaign isn't linked to Adalysis

If you haven't yet linked your campaign to Adalysis, please follow these steps:

  1. Enable the campaign in Google Ads. Switch to the Campaigns screen in Adalysis and click Link missing campaigns.

  2. Create a new label called AdalysisKeepEnabled (case-sensitive) and assign it to the campaign. You can find the Labels screen in the top-right section of Adalysis.

Pause the campaign in Google Ads.

The campaign will only be enabled within Adalysis, without affecting its status in Google Ads can change independently of Adalysis.
